Davy Ralph Ratliff Place, 51, of Harrisburg, IL died Thursday April 28, 2022 at 4:01 pm at Homestead Baptist Hospital in Homestead, Florida. Graveside services will be held Saturday May 7, 2022 at 10:30 am at Zion Cemetery near Ozark, IL. There will be no visitation, all friends and family should go directly to the cemetery. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family. Davy was born on June 20, 1970 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Connie (Lewis) Place and David Ratliff. He worked construction, primarily as a roofer most of his life. He was also a Marine Corps Veteran. He is survived by his 3 Children: McKenzi Ratliff of St. Louis, MO; Karley Ratliff of Williamson County, IL and Mason Ratliff of Galatia, IL; 5 Siblings: Wade Ratliff of Harrisburg, IL; Wesley Ratliff of Equality, IL; Brooke Ratliff-Brasier of Golconda, IL; Michael Place of Louisville, KY and Gatha Place of Harrisburg, IL; Father: Michael Lynn Place of Martin, TN and Aunt: Gatha Lewis of Carrier Mills, IL. He was preceded in death by his Mother: Connie Place.
