Debbie Irene Sherrod

Debeulah "Debbie" Irene Sherrod, 76, of Harrisburg, IL died Thursday November 16, 2023 at 2:58 pm at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Her wishes were to be cremated. There are no services scheduled at this time. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with the details. Debbie was born on April 23, 1947 in Harrisburg, IL to the late Elmo and Velma Kuppart. She married Jerry Leon Wilson and he preceded in death. She later married Charles Daniel Sherrod on July 7, 2012 and he survives. Debbie was a certified nursing assistant and work many years at the local nursing homes caring for the residents. She also was a former member of the Harrisburg Lions Club. She is survived by her Husband : Dan Sherrod of Harrisburg, IL; Daughter: Teresa Milligan of Harrisburg, IL; 5 Stepchildren: Chuck (Lisa) Sherrod of Johnston City, IL; Jim (Robbie) Sherrod of Creal Springs, IL; Scott (Connie) Sherrod of Harrisburg, IL; Nina Sherrod of Harrisburg, IL; and Dennis Sherrod of Harrisburg, IL; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband: Jerry Leon Wilson; 3 Children: Melissa Tison, Deborah Wilson and Jerrod Wilson; Grandson: William Tison and Sister: Nellie Fulkerson.
