Donna R. Pearson, 77, of Evansville, IN formerly of Ledford, IL died Thursday November 5, 2020 at 6:38 pm at the Heritage Center in Evansville, IN. Graveside services will be held Tuesday November 10, 2020 at 1 pm at Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Tuesday after 11 am at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Reverend Scott Johnson will officiate. Donna was born on December 25, 1942 in Saline County, IL in the Walnut Grove Community, to the late Louie and Mildred Lee (Wilson) Ward. She was married to Billy Joe Pearson and he preceded in death on January 7, 2002. Donna was a member of the Walnut Grove Baptist Church near Harrisburg, IL; she loved to go fishing, and gardening especially flowers where she was blessed with a green thumb. Donna loved to travel, she made a trip to Arthur, IL every year for a few days because the place was very special to her. She is survived by her Daughter: Dianna Pearson of Evansville, IN; 2 Nieces: Kelly Ward and Regina Ward; Nephew: Ronald Ward and many cousins. Donna was preceded in death by her parent, Husband: Billy Joe Pearson, Brother: Donald Ray Ward and Sister: Avalee Ward. The family would like to express their extreme appreciation for the care and love showed to them and Donna by the entire staff and employees of the Heritage Center in Evansville, IN.
