Doris Dean “Deedee” (Taylor) Ross, 54, of West Frankfort, IL died Wednesday March 2, 2022 at 8:46 am at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, IL. Funeral services will be held Saturday March 5, 2022 at 1 pm at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Saturday after 11 am until service time. Reverend Scott Johnson will officiate and Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Veterans Flight of Southern Illinois, envelopes will be available at the funeral home. She was born on August 23, 1967 in West Frankfort, IL to the late Carol Joyce Taylor. She started dating the love of her life, 9 years ago and married Ernest Ross on April 10, 2015. She worked retail most of her life, she enjoyed working with the public. She also loved to quilt and crochet. She is survived by her Husband: Ernest Ross of West Frankfort, IL; 3 Children: Derek (Karen) Duvall of Indianapolis, IN; Doug (Makinsey) Duvall of Lake of Egypt, IL and Catey (Nathan) Rheude of Stonefort, IL; 3 Brothers: Lawrence (Pam) Taylor of Christopher; Allen (Connie) Taylor of Arkansas and John (Bonnie) Taylor of Wisconsin and 7 Grandchildren: Emma, Camden, Preston, Allie, Raelynn, Saylor Dean and Kyson Dean; anyone that knew her, knew her grandchildren was her heart and soul. Several nieces, nephews and a Yorkie. She was preceded in death by her Grandmother: Elsie Pomeroy; Mother: Carol Taylor and Brother: Tim Taylor.
