Eddy McDermott, 71, of Harrisburg, IL died Wednesday August 11, 2021 at 1:53 am at Harrisburg Medical Center. Eddy has been cremated. No services are scheduled at this time. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with the details. Eddy was born on March 6, 1950 in Chicago, IL to the late Frank and Cora (Mayberry) McDermott. He worked and retired from the Sweetheart Cup Company before they were taken over by Solo Cup Company. Eddy also loved to hunt. He is survived by 2 Sisters: Patricia Croft of Joilet, IL and Deanna Trentz of Raleigh, IL; Brother: Richard McDermott of Harrisburg, IL and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and Brother: Bob McDermott.
