Faye L. Prather

Faye L. Prather, 83, of Harrisburg, IL died Thursday November 5, 2020 at 6:18 am at her residence. Her wishes was to be cremated. Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with details. She was born on December 10, 1936 in Saline County, IL to the late Louis “Shorty” and Provie (Talkington) Hearne. She married James Prather on June 17, 1956 and he preceded in death on April 6, 2003. She worked as a clerk and nurses aid for many years. She is a member of Carrier Mills Baptist Church but was a Methodist by heart. Faye is survived by her Son: Zack (Kathy) Prather of Carrier Mills, IL; 10 Grandchildren: Lori (Davy) Jones of Harrisburg, IL; Jason (Amber) Burroughs of Texas; Courtney (Michal) Souder of Beaver Creek, OH; Brittany Baugher of Harrisburg, IL; Nick Prather, Dylan Prather, Ahileen Prather and Allie Prather all of Carrier Mills, IL; Kirsten Heberer and Kory (Sarah) Heberer 14 Great Grandchildren: Madyson Jones, Morgan Jones, Braxtyn Baugher, Annistyn Baugher, Eric Burroughs, Hayden Burroughs, Tristan Burroughs, Emmitt Burroughs, Roman Souder, Lyric Baugher and Nova Baugher, Ryli Heberer, Kaydence Heberer and Kruz Heberer; Great Great Grandchild: Kavea Barners; and Sister In Law: Clara Ruth Ammon of Carrier Mills, IL. Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Husband: James Prather; Daughter: Lisa Burroughs; Granddaughter: Lindsey Wren, 4 Brothers: James Hearne, Jack Hearne, J.C. “Bud” Hearne and Emmitt E. Hearne.
