Harold L. Thomas

Harold L. Thomas, 78, of Harrisburg, IL died Monday January 23, 2023 at 9:58 pm at his residence. Funeral services will be held Friday January 27, 2023 at 11 am at Felty Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday after 9 am until service time. Reverend Jeff Owens will officiate and Burial will be in Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills, IL. He was born on November 12, 1944 in Saline County, IL to the late Harold and Vera Velma (Clark) Thomas. He married the former Louise Annis on July 23, 1972 and she survives. Harold graduated from Galatia High School. He was employed many years as a factory worker until his retirement. He enjoyed watching all sports and was extremely fond of watching wrestling. He was a member of the Dorrisville Baptist Church in Harrisburg, IL. Harold is survived by his Wife: Louise Thomas of Harrisburg, IL; Son: John Harold Thomas of Kentucky; God Grandson: Dalton Anthony of Peoria, IL; Great Niece: Zoey Brand of Harrisburg, IL; 3 Sisters: Laverne Jane Dardeen of O'Fallon, IL; Lena May Bozacker of Elkville, IL and Hazel Holloway of Georgia; 2 Brothers: Darrell (Janet) Thomas of Galatia, IL and Charles (Linda) Thomas of Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents; Daughter: Karen Dawn Thomas; 2 Sisters: Mildred Thomas and Sharon Stone; and 3 Brothers: Lawrence Thomas, Robert Thomas and Kenneth Thomas.
