And, for many years, Hubert was a "Regular" at the Golden Circle Senior Center in Harrisburg. In addition, he maintained an active interest in fellow veterans, local history, genealogy, bargain hunting, and much much more. Hubert never married but always thought during his younger years that he would marry one day. He had a large extended family throughout his life, many friends and aquaintance. In recent years, he especially valued the friendship he had with Alan Morgan of Harrisburg. Hubert was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers: Ray, Charles, Lester, Harry and Claude; and his sisters: Beulah DeVard and Myrtle Walker. Hubert is survived by his brother, Carroll and wife, Mary Lewis of Stonefort; his sisters: Laura Streich (WI) and Alice Brown (PA); and his many nephews and nieces across the Country and abroad.
