Ida Ford

Ida Ford, 82, of rural New Burnside, IL died Sunday August 21, 2022 at 8:15 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Thursday August 25, 2022 at 12 Noon at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Thursday after 10 am until service time. Reverend Ron Ferguson will officiate. Burial will be in Dixon-Volkert Cemetery near Rosiclare, IL. Ida was born on October 8, 1939 to the late Jacob and Gertrude (Rottenbach) Kaldenberger. She married Roy Ford and he preceded in in death on May 15, 1981. She worked many years in the dietary department at the Carrier Mills Nursing Home. She loved to sew, cook, read and work crossword puzzels. She was also a member of the Walnut Grove Baptist Church near Stonefort, IL. Ida is survived by 4 Children: Roy (Wendy) Ford Jr of Ozark, IL; Tim (Kim) Ford of New Burnside, IL; Jesse (Angela) Ford of New Burnside, IL and Virginia (Brad) Jordan of Sturgis, MI; 2 Sisters: Marie Lautner of Lorrian, OH and Pat Raymond of Big Rock, IL and Brother: Arnie Kalenberger; 11 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband: Roy Ford; Brother: Jacob Kaldenberger and Sister: Trudy Bacagaluppi.
