James Burnell “Shorty” Gibbs, 55, of Carrier Mills, IL died Monday January 25, 2021 at 5:23 pm at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville, IL. He has been cremated a family memorial service will be held during Memorial Day Weekend and will be announced later. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with the details. He was born on March 13, 1965 in Chicago, IL to the late J.B. Gibbs and Norma (Cole) Gibbs whom survives. He married the former Louvania “Dee Dee” Sanders on March 11, 1993.
