James "Jimmy" Ditterline

James R. “Jimmy” Ditterline, 65, of Harrisburg, IL died Saturday September 19, 2020 at 8:15 pm at Integrity Health Care in Carbondale, IL. Graveside services will be held Wednesday September 23, 2020 at 11 am at Hogan Cemetery in Shawneetown, IL. There will be no visitation, all friends should go directly to the cemetery. Reverend Mike Smith will officiate. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family. He was born on February 13, 1955 in Shawneetown, IL to the late Robert Ditterline and Ruby (Newman) White. Jimmy was a truck driver and a lot of his truck driver friends knew him by the handle of Blackjack. He is survived by his Wife: Terri (Neighbors) Ditterline; 3 Children: Kimberly (Mickie) Horne of Alabama; Jennifer (Kevin) Taylor of Eldorado, IL and James “Ditt” Ditterline of Pensacola, FL; 3 Brothers: Bobby (Linda) Ditterline of Oklahoma; Bernie (Jan) Ditterline of Florida and Ralph (Reva) Ditterline of Harrisburg, IL; His Step-Children: Misty, Danetta, Joey, and Kendra; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sister: Katie Lampert and Brother: Charles Ditterline. Jimmy loved his family and was always a hard worker. He was a good father and husband. Jimmy will be missed by so many. His life was fulfilled with the love of his family and friends.
