Janet Barbara Taylor, 78, of rural Carrier Mills, IL died Sunday August 14, 2022 at 1:40 pm at her residence. Her request was to be cremated. There are no services scheduled at this time. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with the details. She was born on June 13, 1944 in Chicago, IL to the late Adrian Joseph Kaman and the former Margaret Marie Smith. She married Glenn Taylor on February 8, 2004 and he survives. She was a member of the Bankston Fork Baptist Church. She worked many years as a secretary before her retirement and moving to Southern Illinois. She loved to fish, bake and ride on the back of her husband's motorcycle. She is survived by her Husband: Glenn Taylor of Carrier Mills, IL; 3 Children: Carl Torkelson of Lawton, OK; Carolyn Nees of Bradenton, FL and Matthew Taylor of New York; 3 Grandchildren: Rachel Nees, Josh Torkelson and Lexi Torkelson, She was preceded in death by her parents, Brother: Ron Kaman and Sister: Pat Pisack.
