Jason Jerome Jones, 45 of Carrier Mills, IL died at 10:25 PM on Monday August 26, 2024 in Carrier Mills, IL. His wishes were to be cremated. Funeral services will be held on 12 noon Saturday August 31, 2024 at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will begin at 10 AM until service time with Reverend Harl Cockrum officiating. Jason was born to Richard Jones and Bobbie (Barnett)Jones on June 24, 1979 at Harrisburg Medical Center in Harrisburg, IL. Jason was a resident of Carrier Mills, IL for most of his life, but anywhere he went people knew and loved him. He worked for Sharps Heating & Air for 16 years, and was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 268 for 9 years. He loved spending time with his family and friends and would have done anything for any of them. Jason is loved by so many and will be dearly missed. Jason is survived by his parents: mother, Bobbie Jones of Carrier Mills, IL and father, Richard Jones of Harrisburg, IL; sister Richelle Molinarolo of Carrier Mills, IL; brother Clint Jones of Carrier Mills, IL; nieces Addison “Addy” and Ava of Muddy, IL; great-niece RJ of Muddy, IL; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Jim and Colleen Barnett; Bob and Shirley Jones, and uncle, Bobby Jones.
