Jerry L Lawrence

Jerry L. Lawrence, 69, of Harrisburg, IL died at his place of residence on Thursday October 10, 2024. His wishes were to be cremated. Memorial services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday October 19, 2024 at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held at 9:30 AM until service time with Reverend Ownly Williams officiating. Jerry was born on December 14, 1954 in Marion, IL to the late Lee Roy and Lou Eva (Miller) Lawrence. He was an avid sports fan and UK basketball follower. Jerry spent many years coaching youth baseball and basketball, as well as managing and coaching the Harrisburg Park adult softball league. He is survived by his sons: Nathan Lawrence, Brent Lawrence and Blane Lawrence all of Harrisburg, IL; his lifelong friend and wife of 22 years, Janet Lawrence; grandchildren: Nathan, Nadia, Krishawn, London, Noah, Brent, Kayla and Liliana Lawrence, and aunts: Coren Miller and Chris King both of Harrisburg, IL. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents: Lee Roy and Lou Eva (Miller) Lawrence, and brother Mike Lawrence.
