John David Clark

John David Clark, 59, of Harrisburg, IL died Sunday September 1, 2024 at his residence. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1PM on Friday September 20, 2024 at the Harris-Pruett Building in Harrisburg, IL. He has been cremated and Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family. He was born on March 31, 1965 in Harrisburg, IL to the late Verlon and Alice (Lathrop) Clark. He worked many years doing barge work on the river and later worked at Aisin in Marion, IL. He loved music especially playing the drums and guitar, he also enjoyed hiking, walking, bike riding and reading his Bible as well as spending time with his family. He was attending the New Life Christian Center in Equality, IL. He is survived by 2 Daughters: Lani Milligan of Harrisburg, IL and Allison Clark of Eldorado, IL; Son: Adam Clark of Francisco, IN; 2 Sisters: Sue McDermott of Carrier Mills, IL and Ruth (Len) Ray of Pittsburg, IL; Brother: Clifford (Rose) Clark of Wayne City, IL and several grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; Son: John E. Clark and Sister: Linda Clark.
