John Dale Dooley

John D. Dooley, 52, of Stonefort, IL died Monday September 24, 2018 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Sunday September 30, 2018 at 1 pm at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Saturday from 5 to 8 pm. Burial will be in Blackman Cemetery near Stonefort, IL. Reverend Keith Bunfill will officiate. Memorials may be made to Blackman Cemetery or the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.   He was born on December 4, 1965 in Harrisburg, IL to Henry Dooley and Nellie (Griffith) Pritchett.   John was employed at the Marion Federal Prison, where he had worked for over 25 years.   John enjoyed the outdoors, including fishing, hunting, hiking and one of his greatest joys was basketball.   He is survived by his Daughter: Tara Dooley of Republic, Mo; Mother: Nellie Pritchett of Marion, IL; Father: Henry Dooley of Harrisburg, IL; Sister: Kim Pritchett Davidson of White Springs, FL; 2 Brothers: Daniel Dooley of Harrisburg, IL and James Eddie Pritchett of Colorado Springs, Co; 5 nieces and 3 nephews.   He was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Hank Dooley and William Dooley; Sister: Ruth Pritchett and Stepfather: Sam Pritchett.
