Obituary Johnathan Dale Holmes, 41, of Carmi, IL formerly of Carrier Mills, IL died Monday July 8, 2024 at 2:46 pm at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN. Memorial graveside services will be held Thursday July 18, 2024 at 11 am at Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills, IL. There will be no visitation, all family and friends should go directly to cemetery. Reverend Dale Martin will officiate. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with the details. He was born on January 18, 1983 in Harrisburg, IL to Deborah (Holmes) Clark. He graduated from Carrier Mills/Stonefort High School and later attended Southeastern Illinois Junior College for 2 years. He loved to fish and hang out with his 2 best friends, Josh and Caleb. Johnathan is survived by his Mother: Debbie Clark of Carmi, IL; Grandmother: Madge Fitzgerald of Carrier Mills, IL; 2 Uncles: David (Kris) Holmes of Carrier Mills, IL; and Quentin Holmes of Hillsboro, IL; 3 Aunts: Kelly (David) Mitchell of Galatia, IL; Angie (David) Kyle of Carrier Mills, IL; and Robbie (Jim) Sherrod of Creal Springs, IL; Special friends: Chasity Harnishfeger, Josh Cavins and Caleb Daniels and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his Grandfather: John Fitzgerald.
