Joseph T. "Joe" Craig

Joseph “Joe” T. Craig, 93, of Cocoa, FL (formerly Harrisburg, IL) died at 6:47 am on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Marion VA Medical Center in Marion, IL. His wishes were to be cremated. Memorial services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Joe was born on August 22, 1931 in Harrisburg, IL to the late Elroy and Ary Dimple (Bean) Craig. He married the former Debra Glover on October 25, 1991. Joe was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and proudly served during the Korean War era. Many knew him as a renaissance man with his interest and skills in various hobbies. He owned and operated a food truck, loved to fly and sail, and enjoyed listening to Blues and Jazz. Joe was also a Mason and member of the Harrisburg A.M.E. Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife: Debra Beach-Craig of Thompsonville, IL; 5 children: Gregory Williams of Waukegan, IL, Joseph Craig Jr., Toni Elaine Garrison, Michael Craig all of Thompsonville, IL and Dori Craig of Louisiana; along with a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Joe was preceded in death by his parents: Elroy and Ary Dimple Craig, and sister Joann Clark.
