Joshua Lee Reed, 36, of Carrier Mills, IL died Saturday September 22, 2018 as a result of a utility vehicle accident.   Memorial services will be held Thursday September 27, 2018 at 7 pm at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 to 7 pm. Reverend Mary Day will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.   He was born on June 22, 1982 in Harrisburg, IL to the late Randy Reed and the late Melinda (Clark) Rice.   He was a painter by trade and a graduate of Carrier Mills/Stonefort High School.   He is survived by his Companion of over 20 years Quala Sanders of Carrier Mills, IL; 2 Children: Alexandria Reed and Nathaniel Reed both of Carrier Mills, IL; 2 Sisters: Penny Peek of Harrisburg, IL and Elizabeth Oxford of Carrier Mills, IL; Niece: Madison Hirsch; 2 Nephews: John Smith and Eric Smith and 3 Aunts: Helen (Benny) Orman of Cave In Rock, IL; Sharon (Clark) Wallace of Mt. Vernon, IA; and Mary Anna McGhee of Elizabethtown. IL.   He was preceded in death by his parents, Brother: Billy Goins and Stepfather: Herman “Smokey” Rice.
