Karen Sue Stillwell

Karen Sue Stillwell, 73, of Stonefort, IL died Saturday December 28, 2019 at 5:10 pm at Harrisburg Medical Center.   Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 1, 2020 at 11 am at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Reids Chapel Cemetery and Reverend Nolen Reynolds will officiate.   She was born on June 26, 1946 in Cook County, IL to the late Leo William and Mary Virginia (Principe) McDermott.   She married Robert “Bob” E. Stillwell Sr. on December 24, 1969 and he survives.   She was a self employed bookkeeper, she enjoyed going to the river, visiting with the grandchildren and loved to read. She was also a member of the Carrier Mills American Legion Ladies Auxilary Post 364.   She is survived by her Husband: Robert E. Stillwell Sr. of Stonefort, IL; 3 Children: Miki (Jackie) Cantrell of Stonefort, IL; Tonya (Matt) Blackman of Stonefort, IL and Robert (Nikki) Stillwell Jr. of Sturgis, KY; 2 Brothers: John (Debbie) McDermott of Stonefort, IL and Tom (Sue) McDermott of Carrier Mills, IL; 3 Sisters: Colleen Benson of Harrisburg, IL; Judy (Bob) Comer of Carrier Mills, IL and Nora Fitzgerald of Carrier Mills, IL; 7 Grandchildren: Amber Hovatter, Jacob Blackman, Spencer Hulett, Joe Stillwell, Brittany Blackman, Tyler Cantrell and Josh Stillwell and 5 Great Grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by her parents and Sister: Cora Foster.
