Kenneth A. Young

Kenneth A. Young, 62, of Harrisburg, IL died Monday May 6, 2019 at 6:11 pm at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado, IL.   Celebration of Life Reception will be held Saturday May 11, 2019 from 11 am until 1 pm at the Carrier Mills Municipal Building. Burial will be held at a later date in Providence Cemetery. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with the details.   He was born on February 4, 1957 to the late Roger A. Young and Nina (Flannell) Young.   He married Janet Headrick on July 16, 2008 and she preceded in death on May 5, 2011. He then married the former Cheri Sampson on August 25, 2013 and she survives.   He was employed at O'Reilly's auto parts store in Harrisburg, IL. He was also an Army veteran.   He is survived by his Wife: Cheri Young of Harrisburg, IL; Sister: Kim (Darren) Braggs of West Frankfort, IL; Nephew: Chad Watson; Niece: Megan Watson; Stepchildren: Jamie (Thomas) Arthur of North Carolina and Jacie Patton of Clarksdale, IL.   He was preceded in death by his parents, Wife: Janet Young and Sister: Sheila Young.
