Kim R. Moore

Kim R. Moore, 65, of Carrier Mills, IL died Sunday January 20, 2019 at 1:31 pm. Memorial services will be held Saturday January 26 2019 at 11 am at the Carrier Mills First Baptist Church. Reverend Harl Cockrum and Reverend Ryan Beck will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Carrier Mills First Baptist Church. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with the details.   He was born on January 11, 1954 in Saline County, IL to the late Chester and Nellie (Bundren) Moore.   He married the former Jessie A. Ellis on September 1, 1978 and she survives.   Kim worked many years as a coal miner until he retired. He was also an avid hunter.   He was a member of the Carrier Mills First Baptist Church and a member of the Carrier Mills Masonic Lodge.   He is survived by his Wife: Jessie A. Moore of Carrier Mills, IL; 2 Stepsons: David Pickering and Tony (Chris) Pickering both of Carrier Mills, IL; 5 Step Grandchildren: Amanda Toms, Luke Pickering, Caleb Pickering, Brianna Pickering and Abbie Pickering; 4 Step Great Grandchildren: Brock Felty, Issiah Pickering, Camden Pickering and Mason Pickering; Sister: Cindy Britton of Benton, IL. Nephews: Brad Maloney and Garrett Britton; Niece: Brittany Britton; Great Nephews: Kale and Lance Maloney; Great Niece: Hannah Maloney.   He was preceded in death by his parents and a Step Great Grandchild: Kaylynn Pickering.
