Larry Parker, 72, of Desoto, IL died Monday November 16, 2020 at 2:26 pm at Evelyns House Hospice in St. Louis, MO. Graveside services will be held Friday November 20, 2020 a 11 am at Oakland Cemetery in Carbondale, IL. Visitation will be held at the cemetery after 10:30 am. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with the details. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, masks and social distancing are required. Larry was born on September 14, 1948 in Cairo, IL to the late Joseph McCorkle and Phyllis (Parker) Brown. Larry was a retired iron worker and enjoyed life to the fullest. He is survived by 5 Children: Joyce Bell of Springfield, IL; Reginald (Danielle) Wynns of Bloomfield, MI; Arnold Kinard of Aurora, IL; Krista Parker Boardman of Carbondale, and Step Daughter: Tonya Kenner of Carbondale, IL Brother: Justin (Sara) Henderson of Kevil, KY; Niece: Natasha Jackson of Tampa, FL; 8 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren and a host of cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; Daughter: Jacqueline Gilbreath; Brother: Danny Parker; Grandson Eric Wynns and Step Son: Keenan Kenner.
