Larry L. Tanner

Larry L. Tanner, 77, of Carrier Mills, IL died Friday November 22, 2019 at 3:11 am at St Louis University Hospital for injuries received in a automobile accident.   Graveside services will be held Tuesday November 26, 2019 at 11 am at Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills, IL. There will be no visitation, all friends should go directly to the cemetery. Reverend Jerry Jackson will officiate. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with the arrangements.   Larry was born on October 22, 1942 in Carrier Mills, IL to the late Vern and Gladys (Blackman) Tanner.   Larry was a retired mechanic and truck driver. He loved to walk, fish and watch old Black and White movies.   He is survived by 2 Sons: Dan Tanner of Carrier Mills, IL and Tracy Tanner of Harrisburg, IL; Granddaughter: Daniele (Bryan) Smothers of Vienna, IL; 3 Great Grandchildren: Gabe, Hayden and Shelbi Smothers all of Vienna, IL; Brother: Gene Tanner of Carrier Mills, IL and Sister: Connie Tite of Ozark, IL.   He was preceded in death by his parents; Sister: Gracie Cain and Brother: Wayne Tanner.
