Larry Kermit Troutman, 78, of Harrisburg, IL died Tuesday August 30, 2022 at 3:45 am at Carrier Mills Nursing and Rehab Center. Funeral services will be held Sunday September 4, 2022 at 2 pm at Oasis Community Church of the Nazarene in Harrisburg, IL. Visitation will be held Sunday after 1 pm at the church. Reverend Gary Clark will officiate and Burial will be in Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills, IL. Masonic Rites will be held Sunday at 11 am at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. He was born on October 23, 1943 in Herrin, IL to the late Kermit C. and Virginia Lee (Moore) Troutman. He married the former Charlene Segers on May 1, 1993 and she survives. He was a member of Marion Masonic Lodge 89, Honorary member of Carrier Mills Blazing Star Masonic Lodge 458, an Ainad Shriner and 32nd degree Scottish Rite. He was also a member of the Oasis Community Church of the Nazarene in Harrisburg, IL. He loved to hunt, fish, camp and travel. He is survived by his Wife: Charlene Troutman of Harrisburg, IL; 3 Sons: Mike (Kellianne) McSparin of Stonefort, IL; Brett Troutman and Derick Troutman; Sister: Linda (Robert) Zoeller of Marion, IL; 2 Brothers: Terry (Mary Ann) Troutman of Marion, IL and Bruce Troutman of Brunswick, MD; 2 Grandchildren: Josh McSparin and Shauna (Rob) Yancey and 3 Great Grandchildren: Hunter McSparin, Trenton Yancey and Austin Michael Yancey. He was preceded in death by his parents and a Sister: Sherry Kim.
