Leanna Austin, 98, of Carrier Mills, IL died Tuesday January 5, 2021 at 4:20 am at the Carrier Mills Nursing Home. Leanna was cremated and there are no services scheduled at this time. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with details. Leanna was born on March 16, 1922 in Carrier Mills, IL to the late Roscoe and Marie (Cain) Harris. Leanna married John Ellis Austin on October 4, 1942 and he preceded in death on January 19, 1992. Leanna was a homemaker and mother, she was a member of the Carrier Mills First Baptist Church and a member of the Carrier Mills Rebecca's Lodge. She is survived by her Son: Steve (Sharon) Austin of Harrisburg, IL; 2 Grandchildren: Jacob Austin of Dykersburg, IL and Hollis Austin of Lexington, KY; 3 Great Grandchildren: Krista, Joshua Ellis and Oaklynn Rae. Leanna was preceded in death by her parents, Husband: John E. Austin and Brother: Charles Harris.
