Lee Rogers Hampton

Lee Rogers “Hamp” Hampton, 58, of Carrier Mills, IL died Thursday June 17, 2021 at 10:32 pm at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN. His wishes was to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family. Lee was born on February 21, 1963 in Baldwyn, MS to the late Paul Barnes and Bessie Mae (Dillard) Hampton. Lee married the former Peggy Montgomery on September 3, 2003 and she survives. He was a Chef by trade, he loved cooking, fishing and spending time with his friends. He is survived by his Wife: Peggy Hampton of Carrier Mills, IL; Daughter: Anna Reece of Gatlingburg, TN; 2 Sisters: Debra Stubbs of Boonville, MO and Cathy Cannon of New Albany, MS; and 3 Brothers: James Cannon of Tupelo, MS; Walter (Mary) Hampton of Toccopola, MS and Paul Hampton of Tupelo, MS. He was preceded in death by Sister: Vera Hampton; 2 Brothers: Lester Cannon and Willie Hampton and former Wife: Nina Hampton.
