Lila Case

Lila L. Case, 82, of Shawneetown, IL died at 3:03 pm on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at her place of residence. Her wish was to be cremated. Graveside services will be held at 11am on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Elmwood Cemetery in Equality, IL. There will be no visitation; family and friends are to meet at the cemetery. Felty Funeral Home of Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with the arrangements. Lila was born on July 30, 1942 in Saline County, IL to the late Ezra Bryant and Rachel (Orr) Bryant. She found great joy in her travels to Florida, and could also be found crocheting her next creation in her spare time. She is survived by her sons: Carl (Alisha Moore) Case of Shawneetown, IL and Danny L. (Laura Portee) Case of Carrier Mills, IL; brother: Donald (Verna) Bryant of Harrisburg, IL; 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. Lila was preceeded in death by her parents Ezra and Rachel Bryant, siblings: Violet Boisjolie, Leon Bryant, Maxine Stricklin, Gaytha Harrawood, Howard Bryant and Mollie Cunningham; and companion: Louis Noe.
