Obituary Marialice Thomason, 80, of Carrier Mills, IL died Wednesday March 16, 2022 at 3:49 pm at her residence. Funeral services will be held Monday March 21, 2022 at 11:00 am at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Monday after 10 am until service time. Reverend Jonathon Stevens will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. She was born on August 19, 1941 in Raleigh, IL to the late James Luther and Anna Louise (Burns) Yarber. She married Lamar “Tom” Thomason on March 3, 1979 and he preceded in death on March 25, 2016. She was a retired nurse, she was a foster mother for many many children through the years, she loved to crochet and sing. She was also a Baptist by faith. She is survived by 11 Children: Dawn Wilson of Ohio; Wendy Cook of Carrier Mills, IL; Jerry Kapanka of Iowa; Bryan Clark of Michigan; Suzie Cochrane of Canada; Allen Clark of Florida; Michelle Lelacheur of Michigan; LaDea Allen of Carrier Mills, IL; Christy Sharp of Carrier Mills, IL; Donald Clark Jr of Michigan and Kerry Thomason of Michigan; 2 Brothers Don Yarber of Morganfield, KY and James Yarber of Henderson; KY and 2 Sisters: Gertie Pittman of Henderson, KY and Reba Rogers of Washington; several grandchildren; great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and her Dobbie. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband; 2 Sons: Kevin Smith and Kenneth Smith; Daughter: Debbie Clark; 4 Brothers and 1 Sister.
