Marla M. Rice

Marla M. Rice, formerly of Mesa, Arizona died Thursday February 25, 2021 at 4:20 pm at Eldorado Healthcare and Rehab. Her wishes was to be cremated. There will be no services. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with arrangements. Marla was born on February 4, 1944 in Kankakee, IL to the late Jerome and Leona (Freeman) Boudreau. She married Gary L. Rice on June 23, 1962 and he preceded in death on March 6, 2004. Marla was retired from America West Airlines. She loved to travel and had taken several cruises. She also loved music and going dancing. She is survived by 2 Daughters: Marsha (Ron) Van De Voorde of Washington, IL and Debbie (Joe) Patterson of Galatia, IL; Son: Gary A. Rice of Phoeniz, AZ; 3 Sisters: Joan (Don) LeBran of Bourbonnais, IL; Judy (Ray) Coshand of Oceanside, CA; and Bev (Gil) Peterson of Mesa, AZ; 2 Brothers: Sonny (Darlene) Boudreau of Bourbonnais, IL and Dave (Pam) Boudreau of The Villages, FL; 2 Sister In Laws: Marlene Alsip of Bradley, IL and Sharon Doud of Bourbonnais, IL; 5 Grandchildren: Josh Perkins, Andrew Patterson, Heather Holm, Brianna Jones and Taylor Patterson; 2 Step-Grandchildren: Ryan Van De Voorde and Jeri Hayes and 7 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death,by her parents, Husband: Gary L. Rice; Sister: Linda Boudreau and Sister In Law: Marsha Ann Rice.
