Mary Sue Warren, 74, of Carrier Mills, IL passed away at 4:30 pm on Monday March 31, 2025 at Herrin Hospital in Herrin, IL. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Friday April 4, 2025 at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will begin at 11 am until service time with Reverend Jeremy Bennett officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills, IL.

Mary was born on December 4, 1950 in Harrisburg, IL to the late Claude and Rosie (Jones) Annis.

She married Dewey Warren on June 20, 1971.

Mary was an employee of Kroger and worked in the bakery department for many years. The family then opened their own donut shops in Carrier Mills and Galatia. She was an avid reader, and also loved to cook and do crossword puzzles, but her favorite hobby was spending time with her grandson. She was also a devout member of Dorrisville Baptist Church is Harrisburg, IL.

Mary is survived by her husband: Dewey Warren of Carrier Mills, IL; son: Eric (Monica) Warren of Stonefort, IL; grandson: Christopher Warren of Stonefort, IL; brother: Bertis Annis of Dowell, IL; and sister Louise Thomas of Harrisburg, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Claude and Rosie Annis; 2 sisters: Norma Hinkle and Patricia Morris; and 2 brothers Charles Annis and David Annis.
