Nancy Lee Wilkins

Nancy Lee Wilkins, 80, of DuQuoin, IL formerly of Stonefort, IL died Thursday January 2, 2020 at DuQuoin Nursing and Rehab Center.   Graveside services will be held Thursday January 9, 2020 at 11 am at Palestine Cemetery south of Carrier Mills, IL. There will no visitation all friends should go directly to the cemetery. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting with the details.   Nancy was born on December 7, 1939 in Stonefort, IL to the late John and Essie (Burns) Wilkins.   Nancy was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse, she worked many years at the Elgin State Mental Hospital before moving back to southern Illinois. She later worked and retired from the DuQuoin Nursing and Rehab Center in DuQuoin, IL.   Nancy was a private person, but one thing she did love was taking care of her little dogs.   Nancy is survived by 2 Nephews: Phillip Dunning of Pembroke, KY and James Dunning of Morris, IL; and her caregiver: Terry Williams of Desoto, IL.   Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; Sister: Bonnie Dunning and nephew Dennis Dunning.
