Phyllis Mcdaniel

Phyllis McDaniel, 82, of Harrisburg, IL died on Monday September 16, 2024 at 7:12 am at the Villas of Hollybrook in Harrisburg, IL. Graveside services will be held on Friday September 20, 2024 at 11 am at Little Saline Cemetery in Stonefort, IL. Visitation will be held after 10 am on Friday at Felty Funeral Home of Carrier Mills, IL. Reverend Ryan Beck will officiate. Phyllis was born on September 21, 1941 to the late Norvell and Wilma (McNew) Elms in Harrisburg, IL. She married William “Bill” McDaniel on September 5, 1959 and he preceded in death on December 17, 2004. Phyllis was a retired beautician. She loved riding horses in her younger days and was also a former member of the Red Hats. Phyllis is survived by her daughter: Julie (James) Arnold of Carrier Mills, IL, brother: Terry (Terry) Elms of Ozark, IL, grandchildren: Alex (Jeremy) Hull, Cassandra Arnold, Nick Scott, Briley Shroder, TJ Cravin and Elyse Cravin, and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Norvell and Wilma (McNew) Elms, her husband: William “Bill” McDaniel, and daughter: Sherri Teisort.
