Sharon Franklin, 71, of Carrier Mills, IL died Friday December 29, 2021 at 9:30 am at Southgate Health Care in Metropolis, IL. Her request was to be cremated. There are no services planned at this time. Felty Funeral Home is assisting the family with the details. She was born on August 9, 1949 in Affton, Missouri to the late Leonard Fredrick and Maude Josephine (Moise) Wiesehan. She worked for several years at the Independence Center and also the Salvation Army in Missouri. She is survived by 3 Children: Richard Franklin Jr. of Missouri; Ronald Franklin of Carrier Mills, IL and David Franklin of Indiana; 7 Grandchildren: Heather Turner of Carrier Mills, IL and Meta Emerson of Carrier Mills, IL; Loren Osogara, Jen Franklin, Josh Franklin and Jessie Franklin all of Missouri and Paxton Franklin of Indiana; 3 Great Grandchildren: George Turner, Lucas Turner and Gideon Ruble all of Carrier Mills, IL; Siblings: Donna Olson, Pam Davis, Terry Tessmer, Ronnie Joseph Wiesehan, Bobby Wiesehan, John Wiesehan, Skip Wiesehan and Lenny Wiesehan. She was preceded in death by her Daughter: Tammy Emerson, Grandchild: Stacey Emerson and Brother: Jim Wiesehan.
