Sharon J. McDonald, 75, of Harrisburg, IL died at 1:44 pm on Sunday December 8, 2024 at Saline Care Nursing Center in Harrisburg, IL. Her wishes were to be cremated. Felty Funeral Home of Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with arrangements. Further details will be added at a later date. Sharon was born on June 6, 1945 in Harrisburg, IL to the late James and Rosalea (Beal) Travis. She married the late Charles McDonald in 1991 and he preceded in death on August 28, 2019. After high school Sharon studied to become a CNA. She enjoyed traveling and antiquing in her free time and truly valued spending time with her family and grandchildren. Sharon is survived by her 3 Sons: Rodney (Lori) Adams of Harrisburg, IL, Roger (Patty) Adams of Stonefort, IL and Jamie Clifton of Harrisburg, IL; 3 Grandchildren: Dallas Clifton, Dakota Clifton and Ryan Clifton along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Rosalea (Beal) Travis; Husband: Charles McDonald; Son: Clint Personette; Grandson: Jacob Adams and Sister: Peggy Gee.
