Tony Franklin Crisp

Tony F. Crisp, 70, of Harrisburg, IL died Wednesday June 28, 2023 at 11:29 pm at his residence. Funeral services will be held Monday July 3, 2023 at 12 Noon at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Monday after 10 am until service time. Burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery and Reverend Irving Cockrell will officiate. Military rites will be performed by the Harrisburg and Carrier Mills American Legions. Tony was born on May 20, 1953 in Harrisburg, IL to the late T.C. And Barbara (Payton) Crisp whom survives. Tony worked many years as a coal miner and as a police officer in Carrier Mills, Illinois. He was an Army veteran. Tony loved to fish, he also enjoyed mowing, gardening and keeping everything clean. He is survived by his Mother: Barbara Crisp of Carrier Mills, IL; 5 Daughters: Shonda Crisp of Chester, VA; Tonya (Irving) Cockrell of Chester, VA: Jillian (Nathaniel Greulich) Crisp of Stonefort, IL; Lilia Crisp of Stonefort, IL; JuJu Crisp of Stonefort, IL; Brother: Stan Crisp of Lexington, IL; 3 Sisters: Kathy (Mark) Anderson of Murphysboro, IL; Sue Crisp of Dallas, TX and Patricia Penny of Carbondale, IL; 3 Grandchildren and 1 Great granchild. He was preceded in death by his Father: T.C. Crisp.
