Virginia Williams

Virginia Williams, 100, of Harrisburg, IL died Saturday November 2, 2019 at 7:30 am at the Carrier Mills Nursing and Rehab Center.   Funeral services will be held Tuesday November 5, 2019 at 12 Noon at Macedonia Baptist Church near Mitchelsville, IL. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10 am until service time. Reverend David Swain and Reverend James Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with the details.   Virginia was born on October 24, 1919 in Parma, Missouri to the late Reverend Harry E. and Susie (Vandine) Hancock.   She married James Edgar Williams on December 5, 1936 and he preceded in death on July 25, 1976.   She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Mitchelsville, IL and was a very active member.   Virginia is survived by 4 Children: Reverend James (Margaret) Williams of Harrisburg, IL; Ramona Hilliard of Harrisburg, IL; Mary (Jim) Patterson of Harrisburg, IL and Dan (Shirley) Williams of Creal Springs, IL; Sister: Nita Reynolds of Florida; 8 Grandchildren: Jim, Connie, Sharon, Robert, Lisa, Valerie, Daniel Scott and Jim; 9 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great Great Grandchildren.   Virginia was preceded in death by Her Husband: James Edgar Williams; Brother: Earl Hancock; 2 Sisters: Dortha Davis and Betty Reynolds and Grandchild: Jackie Hilliard.
