Obituary William J. “Bill” Reynolds, 78, of Ozark, IL died Monday July 12, 2021 at 5:20 pm at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Funeral services will be held Friday July 16, 2021 at 1 pm at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 to 7 pm. Masonic Rites will be held at 7 pm on Thursday. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery with military rites by the Army National Guard Ritual Team. Reverend Cody Stucker will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses. Bill was born on June 2, 1943 in Stonefort, IL to the late Lloyd and Lucille (Shadowens) Reynolds. He married the former Lisa Beere on March 22, 1980 and she survives. He worked many years at the high rise in Harrisburg, IL as the maintenance man. He was a member of the Stonefort Masonic Lodge and the Carrier Mills American Legion Post 364. Bill loved to trade things, he also loved his tractors, horses and he was blessed with the gift of gab. He is survived by his Wife: Lisa Reynolds of Ozark, IL; 3 Daughters: Becky (Shannon) Keith of Paducah, KY; Tina Reynolds of Ozark, IL and Tammy (Chris) Matheny of Ozark, IL; Brother: Lloyd (Alma) Reynolds of Stonefort, IL; 3 Sisters: Marybelle Treat of Ozark, IL; Loretta (Ron) Holmes of Crab Orchard, IL and Katie Lollar of Carrier Mills, IL; 6 Grandchildren: Cody Schapmire, Caden Schapmire, Skeeter Matheny, Tianna Matheny, Brittany Griffey and Brandon Keith and 2 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 Sisters: Martha Canada and Betty Rushing.
