William David Schell

William David Schell, 48, of New Burnside, IL died Sunday July 30, 2023 at St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield, MO. Funeral services will be held Tuesday August 8, 2023 at 1 pm at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Tuesday after 11 am until service time. Reverend Ralph Brandon will officiate. Burial will be in New Burnside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses. David was born on October 17, 1974 in Marion, Illinois to William “Bill” and Donetta (Stevers) Schell. He married the former Sara Peters on May 19, 2010. David was self employed as a Lighting Specialist and Producer. He loved to design lighting shows. He was a concert lover and a Lego enthusiast. David also attended he United Methodist Church in New Burnside. David is survived by his wife: Sara Schell of New Burnside, IL; parents: William “Bill” & Donetta Schell of New Burnside, IL; 4 children: Valencia, Caleb, Zack and Madi; 2 grandchildren: Tay and Julian; mother in law: Debby Treadway; several cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his son: Conner Schell.
