William "Bill" Tippett

William “Bill” Tippett, 73, of rural Creal Springs, IL died Sunday March 28, 2021 at 12:04 pm at his residence. Graveside services will be held Wednesday March 31, 2021 at 1 pm at the Drake Cemetery. There will be no visitation, all friends and family should go directly to the cemetery. Reverend Jeff Owens will officiate. Military rites will be performed by the Army National Guard. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family. He was born on May 31, 1947 in El Paso, TX to the late Robert and Edna (Pfost) Tippett. He married the former Pamela Brown on November 4, 1995 and she survives. He was a Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the National American Legion and a member of the Carrier Mills American Legion Post 364. He is survived by his Wife: Pamela Tippett of Creal Springs, IL; 5 Children: Carrie (Rob) Enwright of Washington; Thomas Brown of Johnston City, IL; Jessica (Nick) Rewis of Carterville, IL; Christine (Jon) Brandal-Rossi of Harrisburg and Will Tippett of Tinley Park, IL; Brother: Robert (June) Tippett; 13 Grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and Brother: John Tippett.
