Willis Norman Williams

Willis Norman “Bubba D” Williams, 70, of 107 W. Raymond Street, Harrisburg, IL died Monday February 18, 2019 at his residence.   Memorial services will be held Monday February 25, 2019 at 11 am at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Monday after 10 am until service time. Reverend Ownly Williams will officiate. Military rites will follow the service at the funeral home. They will be performed by the Carrier Mills American Legion, Harrisburg American Legion and the Army National Guard Ritual Team.   He was born on August 24, 1948 in Chicago, IL to the late John and Johnnie Mae (Milner) Williams.   He married the former Vickie Johnson in 2009 and she survives.   He worked at many things during his lifetime including building maintenance and postal work. He was also a Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War.   He is survived by his Wife: Vickie Williams of Harrisburg, IL; 7 Children: Latricia Lanee Pointer, Karen Ann Williams, Arah Williams, Gerald Williams, Charles Williams, Candice Williams and Billie D. Williams; 3 Step Children: Kyshia Thompson, Kenny Kennard, Arika Barners; 2 Sisters: Mary Taylor and Erma Montgomery; 2 Brothers: John Williams and Gerald Williams; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.   He was preceded in death by his parents and a Brother: James Williams.
