Obituary Darrell E. Tarrant, 75, of 4745 Gum Springs Road, Ozark, IL died Thursday April 27, 2017 at 7:25 pm in the Carrier Mills Nursing Home. Services will be held Sunday April 30, 2017 at 7 pm at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Sunday after 5 pm until the service time. Cremation will follow the services. He was born on May 31, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Ralph and Dorothy (Harper) Tarrant. He married the former Louise Hambleton on October 30, 1960 and she survives. Darrell worked many years at Ford Motor Company. He enjoyed his family, playing pool and dancing. He was a member of the Harrisburg Sons of the American Legion. He was a part of the Harrisburg and Carrier Mills American Legion Ritual Team where he played the Bugle for many years. He is survived by his Wife: Louise Tarrant of Ozark, IL; Son : Travis Tarrant of Ozark, IL; Daughter In Law: Barb Tarrant of Chicago, Heights, IL; 7 Grandchildren: Shane Tarrant, Amber Cramer, Brandon Tarrant, Amanda Tarrant, Darrell Tarrant, Trinity Tarrant and Travis Tarrant Jr.; 6 Great Grandchildren: Emma, Adrian, Conner, Bailey, Grayson and Bailey. He was preceded in death by his parents; Son: Roger Tarrant and Daughter: Veda Tarrant.
