Charles J. “Chuck” Martin, 62, of Carrier Mills, IL died Thursday July 23, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held Monday July 27, 2020 at 11 am at the New Life Full Gospel Christian Center in Harrisburg, IL. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5 to 7 pm at the church. Reverend Blake Clayton will officiate and Burial will be in Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills, IL. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with details. Memorials may be made to the family He was born on March 4, 1958 in Alexandria, Louisiana to the late Delbert Martin and Marylin (Billingsley) Dawkins whom survives. He married the former Kim J. Wallace on June 10, 1994 and she survives. He was retired from Republic Waste Service where he worked for many years. He was also a member of the New Life Full Gospel Christian Center in Harrisburg, IL and a Army Veteran. He is survived by his Wife: Kim Martin of Carrier Mills, IL; Mother: Marylin Dawkins of Carrier Mills, IL; Son: Charles Robert “Robbie” (Sara) Martin of Harrisburg, IL; 2 Daughters: Melissa Barnett of Harrisburg, IL and Teresa Jennings of Carrier Mills, IL; 2 Sisters: Delaine Keasler of Onalaska, TX and Debbie Martin of Olive Branch, MS; 11 Grandchildren: Alex Barnett, Micah Barnett, Mindy Barnett, Kelsey Karnes, Hailey Martin, Taylor Barton, Owen Martin, Arianna Jennings, Alivia Jennings, Tailynn Jennings and Zada Barnett. He was preceded in death by his Father: Delbert Martin; Sister: Desiree Reinbold and 2 Brothers: Delbert Alan Martin and Michael Steven Martin.
